Nice Pair of hall of fame examples from the 1960 Topps set.
First card is a 1960 Topps #316 Willie McCovey in a PSA NM 7. Nicely centered with great color, clear picture image and razor sharp NM-MT or better looking corners. Super clean front and back. 55/45 side to side and 50/50 top to bottom. Only thing holding this grade back from an 8 is very minor printing mark and a less than perfect edge on the bottom left. A real beauty!
Second card is a 1960 Topps #148 Carl Yastrzemski in a PSA EX 5. "Yaz” racked up over 3,400 hits in his 23 years in the Majors. This example exhibits four sharp corners that surround a crystal clear front image of “Yaz” framed by crisp white borders. The reverse is clean and problem free. Only a few tiny printing marks and 60/40 left to right centering keep this card from potentially grading higher.
