Jackie Robinson, the greatest and most important African American baseball player to ever play for the majors, has signed this offered 7.25x11.25" Grossinger's dinner menu. "Good Evening" is printed on top and "Grossinger's Grossinger, N.Y." is printed at the bottom. Jackie signed and inscribed, " To my friend Peter and Johnny Best Wishes" in 8-9/10 pencil just below the picture of a young man walking through the snow in front of the Grossinger's resort. The full menu is in tact but is quite thrashed with a huge crease and tear across the middle both vertically and horizontally as if it were once folded into quarters to fit in some one's pocket.
