This beautiful Stan Musial game-used Hillerich & Bradsby Model M159 bat was made to the specifications that Musial requested (34.5” length & 30.9 ounces) for the 1959 MLB season. The uncracked bat is in near perfect condition, exhibiting evidence of light use ball marks and ball stitch impressions visible on the barrel of the bat. The ball marks include green ink transfers on each panel of the barrel, adding more visible game use. The barrel reads “GENUINE MUSIAL MODEL LOUISVILLE SLUGGER” as well as the Hillerich & Bradsby logo. The first-ballot Hall of Famer hit .255 this season and received All-Star honors for his efforts with the St. Louis Cardinals during the 1959 season.
