The new look Los Angeles Dodgers took the field in front of 78,672 at the Los Angeles Memorial Colliseum on April 18, 1958.  The team would be withought their star catcher, Roy Campanella, who suffered a career ending injury in a car accident before the season started. The Dodgers were quickly acclamated to their new surroundings and it only took them two years to win the franchise's 2nd world series title.  

Featured in this lot is a Los Angeles Dodgers team signed Official National League (Giles) Baseball. The ball boasts 29 autosgraphs including, Sandy Koufax, Don Drysdale and Duke Snider. All autographs present in 6-8/10 blue ball point pen while the ball is in NM condition with some mild staining present throughout. The ball comes from the son of George Vico, former Tigers 1B and longtime minor-leaguer. Beckett Pre-Certified
