1957 Brooklyn Dodgers home flannel jersey game worn and signed by long time Dodger catcher John Roseboro during his rookie season. Roseboro only got into 35 games during 1957 hitting .253 with 2 HR and 6 RBI but would go on to be the regular Dodger backstop for the next 10 years. Roseboro has on the front in 7-8/10 blue felt tip pen. Blue felt "Dodgers" in script sewn on the chest with Roseboro's red felt "8" sewn below. Large blue felt "8" sewn on the back. Rawlings "Hall of Fame" Flannel size 42 tag sewn in front tail with "Roseboro" is script and "57" stitched in blue thread below. Washing instructions and ""SET 1 1957" tags sewn inside front tail. Jersey is totally original and displays moderate game use. Four small holes on the lower front of jersey with about 8 or so small holes on the back side. Rare 1957 Brooklyn Dodger jersey from their final season at Ebbets Field game worn by one of the best catchers in Los Angeles Dodger history.
