Fantastic signed example of Braves slugger Eddie Mathews' 1956 Topps issue that ranks among the finest duals out there. Of the 21 signed #107 Gray Backs in PSA's pop, only five have a better card grade than this VG-EX+ 4.5 example. (Eddie's only #107 White Back in the PSA registry is graded VG-EX 4.) However, we challenge you to find a better signed copy. The purists love their blue ballpoint signatures on vintage cards, and this one got a well-deserved perfect 10 auto grade. Crease-free with a clean surface, smooth edges and evenly soft corners, the only real blemish is poor centering. Otherwise, it would surely surpass a few of those in the top five.
