With previous success in the use of the dual-image front, Topps raised the stakes for the 1956 set by placing a player profile shot in the foreground against a color action scene in the background. In addition to the abundance of player information, this set also saw the return of fan favorite Mickey Mantle in a tremedous season that included winning the Triple Crown with a .353 batting average, 52 homeruns, and 130 RBIs.
