Offered is an original photograph from one of the greatest Yankees sluggers ever durign Spring Training. The image is from the photo shoot for the Commerce Comet's 1958 Topps All Star baseball card. During the shoot, they had Mantle batting both righty and lefty and would eventually end up using the right handed photo for the card. This image is one of the lefty examples and has note been widely circulated throughout the hobby.  Mantle photos from his shoots  to make his baseball cards are extremely rare, and this example is no exception. The reverse is stamped by the New York Yankees and is an original photograph off of the original negative. Extremely well kept and displays beautifully. High quality with some light creasing at the bottom. Photo measures 8x10" and is encapsulated by PSA/DNA TYPE I (84248993).
