One was a 3-time Cy Young winner, NL MVP, 5-time ERA champ and 4-time strikeout leader in a brief 12-year pitching career that will forever be on the short list of the all-time greats. The other was his intimidating running mate, a 3-time strikeout leader and fellow Cy Young winner. Together, they formed what is considered the best 1-2 punch at the top of the rotation in history and led the Dodgers to their first three World Championships on the west coast.
Highlights of the 1955 Topps #123 Sandy Koufax RC in PSA EX-MT 6 include rich color and a glossy front image with a super clean reverse. Corners are excellent and centering is slightly off left to right. The '57 Topps Drysdale RC comes in the same grade with nearly-perfect centering, nice corners and a clean back.
