A unique and beautiful card from the 1955 Topps Doubleheader issue, featuring Hank Aaron on the front and Ray Herbert on the reverse. This card has been graded PSA VG-EX 4.
The young Aaron, an emerging superstar at the time, in his second year in the big leagues on the cardboard classic.
Sadly, Mr. Aaron passed away in 2021, so his memorabilia, always of great interest, is getting even more attention.
We must admit, we feel sorry for Ray Herbert's ancestors and fans, as being paired with baseball icon Hank Aaron on this gem of a card has likely priced them out of the market!
