Presented here is a piece of game used lumber from the Splendid Splinter himself, Ted Williams.  This gorgeous 31.6 oz. wooden relic was used during the 1955-59 period and measures 35" in length. The Hillerich and Bradsby W183 was shipped to the Hall of Famer directly from the Louisville bat factory but never made it further than the rack, leaving behind the tell tale paint streaks. Williams' number "9" appears in vintage marker on the knob and the number "3" to indicate the bat's weight.
A number of years later the bat made its way back to Williams for the application of a black sharpie autograph. The 9/10 signature is placed on the upper barrel and is one of the finest Williams signed bats we've seen come to market in a very long time. Accompanied by a Full LOA from John Taube of PSA/DNA, GU 5 (1B16663), a full LOA from PSA/DNA (AE71358) for the autograph, and a letter of provenance from Ted Williams.
