Mickey Mantle's 1952 Topps card is one of the true icons of our hobby and is instantly recognized, even by non-collectors. Every enthusiast covets a Topps "rookie" card of Mickey Mantle, and no serious baseball card collection can be considered complete without one. Exhibited here is a bright and colorful example graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. This strong specimen is crease-free and features smooth surfaces front and back. The card falls short of EX with its softer than ideal corners and its off-white borders. Centering is a bit favored left to right but we've seen much worse centering on similarly graded copies over the years. The vibrant blue and yellow colors on the front give this card tremendous eye appeal. A very desirable mid-grade example of The Mick’s most celebrated card.
