Very well centered low grade filler POOR SGC 10 1952 Topps high number Rookie Card of Yankee Hall of Fame Legend Mickey Mantle. Bright color with good picture image. Corners about G. Very close to 50/50 centering all way around. Several creases that do not damage that much of the front surface. Some light soiling on front with a couple of slight areas at back left bottom edge. The main issue resides in the mouth area. It appears that at one time a youngster added a blue ink mustache to Mantles face. To make matters worse someone has since taken off a 1/8" by 1" strip of surface paper to remove most of the ink, leaving just the white paper below. If not for this problem, the card would have displayed nicer r than the given grade.
