The 1952 Topps Baseball issue is undoubtedly one of the three most important sets in the hobby, along with 1933 Goudey gum and the T206 tobacco series. Their larger size and bold, colorful imagery gained hold of early 1950's youngsters and placed Topps at the forefront of the bubble gum sport card business, eclipsing the Bowman company which held had held sway in the marketplace since 1948. 64 years later Topps is still standard bearer of the industry. This beautiful near-complete set (395/407) of 1952 Topps Baseball has been entirely graded by PSA. With a current rank of #34 on the PSA Set Registry and a GPA of 5.7, it was carefully put together with an eye for condition.
