Beautifully matched EX to EX-MT overall 1952 Topps Baseball set with the vast majority of cards appearing to fall within that range, with some better and a few worse. All of the key Hall of Fame cards have been PSA graded with all coming back EX PSA 5 or better. The key #311 Mickey Mantle is a very well centered EX PSA 5 with great eye appeal. Card features excellent color with perfect picture registration. Corners are EX overall. Front and back are both clean. Centering is about dead on 50/50 side to side and 55/45 or so top to bottom. A very solid EX PSA 5! The 1952 Topps Baseball issue is undoubtedly one of the 3 most important sets in the hobby, along with 1933 Goudey gum and the T206 tobacco. Their larger size gained hold of the early 1950's youngsters and placed Topps at the forefront of the bubble gum sport card business, eclipsing the Bowman company which held had held sway in the marketplace since 1948. 64 years later Topps is still the leader in the industry. 29 cards have recently been sent to PSA by us, including Jackie Robinson, Duke Snider, Leo Durocher, Billy Herman, and Richie Ashburn.
