Directly from the family estate collection of Barney Stein comes this 8" by 10" original team photograph of the 1952 Brooklyn Dodgers National League Champions. It must have been taken shortly after they clinched the pennant. The faces and expressions of each player, coach, and staff member come through in sharp resolution. Jackie Robinson is pictured in the middle of the second row. The Dodgers would go on to lose a heartbreaking World Series to the New York Yankees in seven games after leading three games to two.
This wonderful team photo was printed off its original negative from the famous Dodgers photographer's camera many years later. The reverse has a Barney Stein stamp. It comes with letters from PSA/DNA (Type 2) and Barney Stein's daughter.
