Tigers legend Harry Heilmann passed away one day before the 1951 All-Star Game in Detroit, and the game was played in his honor. Six players homered in the contest for the first time in history, and those six home runs are still tied for an All-Star Game record. Stan Musial and Bob Elliott homered in a decisive three-run fourth, and the NL wouldn't trail again in an 8-3 victory.

Presented here is an OAL (Harridge) baseball signed by 27 members of the 1951 NL All-Star squad. Hall of Famers and keys include Jackie Robinson (6-7/10), Warren Spahn, Roy Campanella (6-7/10), Duke Snider, Robin Roberts, Don Newcombe, Enos Slaughter, Richie Ashburn, Stan Musial (9/10 on SS), Gil Hodges, Red Schoendienst, etc. Autographs are mostly 7-8/10 on the lightly toned and mildly soiled ball.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA (No CH).
