Scarce 1951-52 Oakland Oaks team signed baseball from the Pacific Coast League. The ball is stamped on the main panel with "COURTESY OAKLAND OAKS" and contains two Hall of Fame signatures among the 23 signees. Most importantly, Mel Ott has penned his signature on the sweet spot along with veteran Johnny Vander Meer. George Kelly signed on the panel left of the Oakland Oaks stamping along with three other signatures. The Wilson PCL ball remains in excellent condition with little to no blemishes. All signatures have been penned in blue ballpoint for ideal eye appeal on the pearly white baseball. This lot is accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA (Cert. #: E#1177).
