This stunning large-format color photo (14 x 11 inches) captures thirty-five members of the 1950 World Champion New York Yankees posing together at Yankee Stadium and has been signed in blue Sharpie (grading "10") by the following 23 Yankees: Joe DiMaggio, Yogi Berra, Phil Rizzuto, Johnny Mize, Whitey Ford, Allie Reynolds, Ralph Houk, Tom Ferrick, Cliff Mapes, Fred Sanford, Tommy Byrne, Tommy Henrich, Hank Bauer, Lew Burdette, Joe Ostrowski, Charlie Silvera, Gene Woodling, Bill Johnson, Frank Crosetti, and Ed Lopat. Each player has signed the photo atop his respective image. The photo has also been signed by Spec Shea in the upper left area of the photo, directly above the team trainer's head. Shea was not a member of the team in 1950, but he joined the club early the following year. The Yankees captured their second consecutive World Championship in 1950 by sweeping the Phillies in the World Series. This is a particularly beautiful large and extremely high quality full-color signed Yankees team photo that is ideal for display. We're not sure when the photo was made, or if perhaps it was produced for distribution to players or for a reunion, but it is a gem. The photo is has been beautifully matted and framed to total dimensions of 20.5 x 17.5 inches
