Some ambitious fan put in some work at the Chicago Comisky Park mid-summer classic in 1950 to get this delightful Major League All-Star Game program autographed by (20) players and coaches.
The signatures are by each player's profile and cannot look better, especially the highly coveted penmanship from Jackie Robinson and Roy Campanella, not to mention Duke Snider, Stan Musial and many other heroes of the day.
A PSA/DNA LOA is provided for this delightful collectible, which captures the era, spirit and iconic players that made baseball such a focal point of American culture.
Upon further review it appears PSA missed a page in the program with (8) signatures (Sauer, Roberts, Newcombe, Hodges, Spahn, Reese, Wyrostek, Jansen) in their autograph review. The “missing” 8 autographs certainly pass our eye test, are consistent with the others obtained at the time, and would be expected to easily pass authentication.
