Robin Roberts' Hall of Fame career as a pitcher spanned three decades and was spent mainly with the Philadelphia Phillies, the squad he pitched for from 1948-1961. Roberts racked up seven All Star Game appearances and led all of baseball in wins four times while in Philadelphia. His number is retired by the Phillies, and he has a spot on the team's Wall of Fame. Offered here is an autographed example of his 1949 Bowman rookie card. The card has been signed in bold blue marker, and the penmanship earned a Mint 9 autograph grade from PSA/DNA. The card itself was graded a VG 3 by PSA, but presents remarkably well with a sharp picture image of the pitcher as a youngster.
