A large and spectacular visual representation of William Bendix in Yankee pinstripes, with his Louisville Slugger at the ready. Bendix, as “Babe Ruth”, enjoys a Chesterfield cigarette in this incredibly colorful 1948 advertising poster, which also promotes “The Babe Ruth Story”. The visible area of the 29-1/2" x 51-1/2" advertisement appears mostly EX-MT with the exception of a significant border tear and creasing confined to a specific area in the lower right corner affecting the image of the cigarette pack. Framed to overall dimensions of 23" x 45-1/2".
