Offered here is a nice 1948 Swell Sports Thrills #3 "Dramatic Debut" Jackie Robinson card graded PR+ 1.5 by SCG. Jackie broke the MLB color barrier on April 15th, 1947, and, unfortunately, endured unthinkable abuse from fans but continued to carry himself with dignity and poise. The card title certainly matches Jackie's emergence into the MLB. A clean black and white image of Jackie in his Dodgers uniform along with a baseball-themed border makes for nice eye appeal. A scarce Jackie card from Swell Bubble Gum's 1948 release.
