This cream-colored flannel, zippered garment boasts "Cardinals" embroidered across the chest in red-on-blue characters and the team's traditional Birds-on-a-bat logo angled just above. Bright-red piping lines the shoulders and surrounds the sleeve endings, neck and zipper path. Within the collar, a black "Rawlings" manufacturer's label shows a good deal of wear and is accompanied by strip tags with washing instructions and a red-stitched size tag that shows enough wear to make it difficult to determine the numerals. Hearn's No. 34 is on the back in red and black felt, with some spotting visible on the red felt portions. The left front tail has a vintage, embroidered notation of "Hearn 48" in cursive characters. There are six holes under each sleeve (as made) to facilitate ventilation. The item reveals good evidence of wear, with perspiration-induced soiling about the collar, along with some collar wear.
