This 14-3/4" x 19-3/4" colorful point of sale display depicts St. Louis Cardinals star Johnny Mize endorsing Granger Pipe Tobacco. It features images of Mize in both a relaxing, pipe smoking pose and taking a full swing in his Cards uniform. This 1940s piece was one of a series of Granger ads in which big leaguers promoted the Liggetts & Myers tobacco product. The visible area of this framed example presents minimally at the EX/MT level. Framed to overall dimensions of 20" x 25".
