"LITTLE WORLD SERIES 1946" is written in another hand by the sweet spot. The Little World Series (no relation to the Little League World Series) was the name given to a postseason series between champions of two of the three high minor professional baseball leagues. It became known as the Junior World Series beginning in 1932. Most often it was held between the champions of the International League (IL) and the American Association (AA). In 1946, the Montreal Royals (AA) defeated the Louisville Colonels (IL) four games to two.

Full LOA from JSA. Pre-certified by PSA/DNA.
