The 1946 Red Sox and the great Ted Williams' only chance at October glory came and went as the Bambino's curse would continue to erase any dreams of a World Series victory for the club. On the upside, this gorgeous ball is still a commemoration of the only A.L. Championship Red Sox team between 1918 and 1967. This team signed ball includes 30 signatures  from the pennant winning club. The ball dispalays some toning and a top coating to preserve the signatures. All autographs range from 8/10-9/10 with many being perfect 10's.

You'd be hard pressed to find a ball that boasts darker signatures from this period. Ted Williams owns the sweet spot on this specimen. Other signatures include, Cronin, Hal Wagner, Clinger, Pellagrini, Zuber, Doerr, Drelsewerd, Lazor, Ferriss, Hughson, Charlie Wagner, Harris, McGah, Partee, Dobson, Ryba, McBride, Higgins, Moses, Metkovich, Dom DiMaggio, Gutteridge, Brown, Bagby, Pesky, York and Baker.

Accompanied by a full LOA from PSA/DNA with an overall grade of 6.5 (Autographs 8, Baseball 5) and a letter of provenance from the family of Roy Partee who kept this ball in their possession for decades.
