This large 21" x 43" (visible area) colorful point of sale display depicts "1944 National League Batting Champion" Dixie Walker endorsing Granger Pipe Tobacco. This mid-1940s piece was one of a series of Granger ads in which big leaguers promoted the Liggett & Myers tobacco product. The visible area of this framed piece shows moderate professional restoration and presents at the apparent VG-EX level with some light vertical line impressions and two small holes at the upper corners from mounting. Framed to overall dimensions of 27-1/2" x 49".
