This colorful point of sale display depicts "1944 National League Batting Champion" Dixie Walker endorsing Granger Pipe Tobacco. This mid-1940s piece was one of a series of Granger ads in which big leaguers promoted the Liggett & Myers tobacco product. The 10-1/2 x 15-1/2" (visible area) of this framed piece presents at the EX level with some light vertical creases and minor staining at left edge. Framed to overall dimensions of 15-1/2" x 20-1/2".
