Magnificent Cy Young handwritten and signed letter on The Sporting News letterhead in which he answers a fan's question about who he thinks is the greatest ballplayer of all-time. Young responds "1 Ty Cob(sic) he could do almost anything he tried in his positions. 2 base and shortstop Wagner. Without a doubt Babe Ruth as a Hitter in a class by Hisself(sic)." Both Cy Young signature and the writing in the letter look to be perfect 9-10/10 vintage blue ink. Letter itself is in very nice condition with the usual folds. A small 1 1/4" by 1 1/2" clipped image of Young has been glued to the lower right hand corner of the letter.

Full LOA from PSA/DNA with a MINT 9 Autograph Grade.
