Ted Williams’ big league debut in 1939 opened the book on one of the finest hitters the game had ever seen. Within two years he would gain everlasting fame as the last major leaguer to break the .400 mark and he would go on to win two MVP Awards, a pair of Triple Crowns and six batting championships.
From the popular 1939 Play Ball series comes this exceptionally signed Ted Williams rookie example. Williams has signed in black ball point pen on the really well centered copy from the condition sensitive series. The autograph is not the best we've seen but you'd be hard pressed to find another signed copy as they are very limited in supply across the hobby. Deemed PSA/DNA Authentic.
