This color tinted lithographic postcard showing the Hotel Stinton-St. Nicholas in Cincinnati, Ohio was postmarked on Aug. 20th 1935 in New York, N.Y. In blue fountain ink Wagner writes, "Dear Mrs. Cornelius, Thanking you for your kind invitation. Very truly yours, J. Honus Wagner Pirate."Although the card has sections missing from two corners and multiple creases and a border tear, Wagner's writing is largely unaffected, particularly his vibrant signature. The postcard is hand addressed by Wagner as well.
