Offered here is Babe Ruth's instantly recognizable #149 card from the famed 1933 Goudey set. Recently graded GD 2 by PSA, it presents wonderfully with nice colors and strong print (esp. on back), clean borders and perfect horizontal centering. A diagonal crease on the lower left does not take away from the lovely presentation of this fine example. This card along with Ruth's other three '33 Goudey issues listed in lots 48, 49 & 51 all come from our consignor's personal collection passed down from his father who got them straight from their original gum packs in the 1930's.
