Although outfielder Pete Scott batted .303 in his three years with the Cubs and Pirates, it wasn’t enough to replace future Hall of Famers Hack Wilson and the Waner Brothers who were already entrenched in the outfield. In 1933, Scott was a star in the Pacific Coast League and still had a shot at making the majors again when Goudey decided to include him in their set. Though he never played in the big leagues again, Scott’s 1933 Goudey is among the most attractive in the set. This PSA NM-MT 8 is almost perfect, with bright colors and looks to be about 60/40 top to bottom and side to side.
