The University of Cincinnati star was signed by his hometown Reds and hit an even .300 as an outfielder in 13 big league seasons. Allen later went on to coach Yale University to two College World Series finals in 1947 and 1948 where his star first baseman was future US President George H. W. Bush. This beautiful example is one of, if not the finest, in existence. Rating a PSA NM-MT 8, none have graded higher.
