Tommy was a great fielding shortstop for 6 of the 8 National League teams, winning a World Championship with the Cardinals in 1926. Known more for his glove than bat, Thevenow hit 2 inside the ballpark homers in 1926 but then went 3,347 consecutive games without hitting another, a record that stands to this day. His 1933 Goudey rates a PSA NM 7 and has exceptional color and superior image.
