Mahaffey had a fast-breaking curveball that helped the Philadelphia A’s win back-to-back pennants in 1930-31 and a World Championship in 1930. Though overshadowed by Lefty Grove and George Earnshaw, Mahaffey was a solid part of the A’s team that many historians call “the best baseball dynasty of all-time.” This example has bright blue colors with a clean back and has been graded a PSA NM-MT 8 with just one graded higher.

1933 GOUDEY #196 LEROY MAHAFFEY - PSA NM-MT 8 - ONLY ONE GRADED HIGHER
