In 1933, this is the card most kids hoped their packs of Goudey cards contained – Babe Ruth. Since Ruth was THE baseball player of the day, Goudey included 4 different Ruth cards in the 1933 set. One was a portrait and the remaining three were batting poses. This card, number 149, is a closeup of the Babe swinging for the fences in front of a vivid red background. This example rates a PSA VG-EX 4 grade. Centered about 55/45 side to side and 20/80 bottom to top. Easily one of the most iconic Babe Ruth cards ever produced.
