Offered here is a 1932 World Series Chicago Cubs Vs. New York Yankees Program attributed to Game 3 at Wrigley Field in Chicago. The Souvenir Scorecard was originally priced at 25 cents and could have been purchased at Wrigley Field during or before the game. Game 3 ended in a Yankees victory, outlasting the Cubs, 7-5. The famous Game 3 of the 1932 World Series was when Babe Ruth “Called Shot” with two strikes in the fifth inning and proceeded to hit a homer in the exact spot that he pointed at in the outfield. Only games 3 and 4 of the series were played at Wrigley Field and the phrase “1932 Game 3” is written on the actual scoring page of the program, leading one to believe that this program was from Game 3. The program measures 6”x8.5” and remains in good condition. Creasing is found on the front cover but color remains vibrant. A very special program from one of the most significant games in World Series history.
