Awesome Thorne original Type I 1932 New York Yankees Spring Training team photo. Crystal clear facial images of all the Yankee players and coaches gathered for the upcoming season. Hall of Famers Ruth, Gehrig, Dickey, Gomez, Ruffing, Combs, McCarthy, Pennock, Sewell, Lazzeri, and owner Ruppert are all here. Back of photo stamped "THORNE PHOTO". Included is a typewritten paper with all the people in the photo identified. Photo itself measures 8" by 10" and is in great condition with small dings to the corners and an slight indentation about 1/8" along the edge all the way around where it appears to have been framed at one time. Many consider the 1932 Yankees, who won 107 games during the regular season before sweeping the National League Champion Chicago Cubs in the World Series, to be the greatest team in the history of baseball.
