German issued 1932 Bulgaria Tobacco complete set of 272 multi-sport cards featuring actual black & white photos of premier athletes from around the world. The most valuable card in the issue is #256 which pictures Babe Ruth in full Yankee uniform standing next to World Heavyweight Boxing Champion Max Schmeling. Dead centered card is graded VG-EX+ PSA 4.5. Other prominent athletes in the series are golfer Walter Hagen, swimmer Johnny Weissmuller, tennis star Bill Tilden, ice skater Sonja Henie, and aviator Charles Lindbergh. Over all condition for the set is about VG to EX with about 5% having back text damage from being removed from an album.
