Full unused ticket from the 1931 World Series, Game 3 at Shibe Park in Philadelphia. Encapsulated as AUTHENTIC by PSA, this ticket is one of only two ever holdered, making it extremely rare. The ticket features a bold face with great coloring. Edges and corners are in terrific shape and the back is super clean. If not for a thin strip of paper loss on the front, it would easily qualify for mid-grade and overtake the only other example in VG 3.

The St. Louis Cardinals beat the Philadelphia Athletics, 5-2, in Game 3 as Burleigh Grimes went the distance with a 2-hitter, outdueling fellow Hall of Famer Lefty Grove. In fact, Grimes didn't give up a hit until the bottom of the 8th inning. He also had two hits and 2 RBI from the 9-hole. The 1931 World Series was a rematch of the year prior and the Cards got their revenge over the A's in a hard-fought seven-game Fall Classic.
