Presented is an amazing 1929 World Series Crosley Field official scorecard for the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Athletics matchup. The Athletics would emerge victorious 4-1 in the series. The colorful string-bound program is very visually appealing, and its original golden string is intact. The gorgeous art deco cover design features Hall of Famers Connie Mack and Joe McCarthy. The well-kept interior pages have pictures of the various players on each team. The centerfold scorecard is unscored, and the piece comes with its original mailing envelope postmarked October 17 of 1929. This date is three days after the series ended. Though the scorecard exhibits light wrinkling, a few creases, and surface abrasions, it presents incredibly well. The envelope the card was mailed in shows a few small tears at the fold areas and some wear due to mailing.
