This sepia toned large format photograph with "National League Pennant Winners" titling centered at bottom shows the members of the 1929 Chicago Cubs posing in uniform. Notables include Rogers Hornsby, Hack Wilson, Kiki Cuyler, and Manager Joe McCarthy. The piece displays well in a 9.5"x32" frame with visible wear to include some chipping/loss and one or two small tears at lower edge (mostly confined to white border or just above) and a few additional small flaws to central image portion. This scarce image is one of only a few of this pose to have surfaced and is slightly different in configuration of imprinted text and "J.Bodziak 1929" markings.
