The duo, at the height of their powers, are shown in their Yankee pinstripes, but no caps so you get a good look at their faces, greeting the Bremen flight crew, who had just completed the first east to west transatlantic flight. The scene is Yankee Stadium May 6, 1928, just weeks after the storied flight.
