Presented is a used 1927 New York Yankees scorecard for the second game of a May 28 doubleheader against the Washington Senators. Washington came away with the victory in a 3-2 pitcher's duel, with Firpo Marberry outdueling Wilcy Moore. The Yankees scattered ten hits across the nine-inning affair, with third baseman Joe Dugan the lone position player in the starting lineup held hitless. Lou Gehrig continued his torrid hitting, going 2-for-4 to raise his batting average to .408 on the season (he would finish at .373). The card was scored in black ink and is in EX to EX/MT condition. There are some minor areas of wear at the edges and spine, and some light but even toning.
