Offered is an unscored official 1927 Chicago White Sox Comiskey Park scorecard for a game against the New York Yankees' famed "Murderer's Row" lineup. On the scorecard page the dominant lineup can be found: Earle Combs in center field, Tony Lazzeri at second, Babe Ruth in left, Lou Gehrig at first, Bob Meusel in right field, Mark Koenig at short, Joe Dugan at third, and Pat Collins behind the plate. The team won an incredible 110 games while losing just 44 that season, and would go on to sweep the Pirates in the World Series. In this game, the White Sox — with a season record of 70-83 — simply could not compete. The scorecard is in VG/EX condition, with mild overall wear and some age-related rust at the staples.
