Presented here is a vintage original cellulose negative that portrays the World Series champion 1926 New York Yankees in and around the dugout. The negative measures approximately 8" x 10", and appears to be taken during warmups as a smattering of fans appear in the seats. While Babe Ruth and Lou Gehrig are not easily visible, it is possible one or both is in this shot as a few players are partially obstructed. This negative is yet another incredible piece from the expansive Brown Brothers photo archive.
