Beautiful team panoramic paper print of the 1924 Kansas City Monarchs, winners of the 1924 Colored World Series and one of the most storied franchises in Negro League History. The Monarchs won the Negro National League in 1924 and faced the Eastern Colored League Champion Hilldale Daisies in the 1924 Colored World Series. The Monarchs defeated Hilldale 5 games to 4 with 1 tie, Hall of Fame pitchers Bullet Joe Rogan and Jose Mendez winning 4 of the 5 games. Very nice black and white photo image with all players identified with names below their images. The players are lined up on their home field, Muehlebach Park, in Kansas City, Missouri. Print measures 7 3/4" by 36". Paper print has some creasing from rolling with the right edge being the most severe. Should look fantastic once framed and matted.
