Featured here is the extremely scarce true rookie card of Tony Lazzeri found in the 1922 Zeenut PCL E137 series. Before the Yankees Hall of Famer became a pivotal Murderer's Row member, he suited up for the Salt Lake City Bees in the Pacific Coast League. His image remains super sharp with minute details clearly visible. Most of the aging and wear is to the corners, mainly the front top left and back top right. The white background and blank back are both very clean. As is typical with Zeenuts, the bottom coupon has been clipped off for prize redemption. In doing so, a portion of the left corner was cut off along with it. Thus, PSA could grade the card no better than "AUTHENTIC." If fully intact, it would be GD-VG in our book. Only two others have been authenticated by PSA (Authentic and VG-EX 4), making it the rarest Lazzeri issue by far.
